Christmas Card Workshop

Christmas Card Workshop. Hand print your own Christmas cards this year in our heritage studio. This 2 hour session is for up to 2 people to print a design each. The time will allow for 12 cards per person to be printed (or 24 cards if one person attends). If time allows there may be an opportunity to print cards at an additional cost of 50p each (inc. envelope).

On the Day

Experience a session designed to introduce you to the joys of letterpress and leave with a bundle of Christmas cards to delight your friends and family!

Bring your idea with you, browse our vintage type drawers and ink up a printastic design under the expert guidance of Chris, our printer.

If you’re not sure what to print in your Christmas Card workshop, we have a library of typography, letterpress and print books to inspire that you can browse before your session starts.

Do you have an idea of what you’d like to print? We recommend keeping it short and sweet for maximum impact, so ideally less than 10 words. Colour palettes are limited to one colour per session.

• Print a bundle of Christmas Cards
• 24 cards inc. envelopes per session

• Max. 2 people per session
• £50 for 1 person, £80 for 2 people, or £100 for 3 people
• One colour
• Additional cards printed within the timeframe – 50p per card with envelope
• Suitable for children. Young adults under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Hannah and Chris have brought their passion for print to the high street with their boutique studio close to the centre of Derby and its famous Cathedral Quarter. The team prints letterpress commissions for private clients and small businesses, facilitates workshops on and off site and produces a range of popular greetings cards for retail. A gallery is situated to the front of the studio which shows work by printmakers and workshop attendees alike.
