Remembering your big day.
It’s been a year since your magical wedding day, and now your first anniversary is a great time to reminisce on all of the exciting moments.
The traditional name for the first wedding anniversary is paper or cotton, a rather modest symbol of love compared to gold, but also one that can be wonderfully creative.
The heritage letterpress craft lends itself wonderfully to this. Imprinting your vows or the words to your first dance can serve as a permanent remembrance of that life-changing day and become a part of your love story.
If you’re looking for a truly unique wedding anniversary present, this is it. The words are hand-set with vintage movable type from our font collection. We offer a variety of typeface styles to make it unique to you. A motif or graphic can also be incorporated into the design; whether it’s a monogram, an illustration, or a photograph, we can create something completely unique.
The papers we use are chosen for their archival properties and texture, which means they will last a long time and will not deteriorate with age. The papers have a high cotton content, which lends itself well to letterpress printing. Somerset (produced by St Cuthberts Mill in the UK) and Fabriano (a high grade printmaking paper created in Italy) are our most popular papers.
